These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Challenge Couple, including the mobile application, website, content, paid features and related services (together, the “Service”).

By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Challenge Couple is an entertainment app designed to help couples play challenges, questions, truth-or-dare style cards and similar interactive content.

The Service is provided for entertainment only. It does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, relationship, legal or professional advice.

2. Eligibility and age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Some content, packs or features may be intended only for adults. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in your country and appropriate for your age, maturity and personal situation.

You must not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law, app store rules or these Terms.

3. Safe and respectful use

You agree to use the Service responsibly, respectfully and with the free and informed consent of every participant.

We are not responsible for actions taken by users outside the App or for how users interpret or perform challenges.

4. Account, settings and device access

The Service may allow local settings, preferences, player names, saved content or an account depending on the version of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your device, account credentials and purchases.

If you believe your account or access has been compromised, contact us as soon as possible.

5. Purchases, subscriptions and trials

The Service may offer free features, paid features, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, consumable or non-consumable in-app purchases, promotional offers or free trials.

Prices, billing periods, included features and renewal terms are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by country, store, currency, taxes and promotional eligibility.

Purchases are processed by the relevant app store or payment provider, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. Their payment terms also apply.

6. Changes to prices and features

We may change, add, remove or limit features, content, prices, offers or availability of the Service from time to time. For existing subscriptions, price changes will apply according to the rules and notices provided by the relevant app store and applicable law.

7. User content

If the Service lets you create, write, save or submit content, you remain responsible for that content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it.

You must not create, upload, transmit or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing, sexually exploitative, unsafe, harmful to minors, or otherwise inappropriate.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display and use your content only as necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, unless a feature clearly states otherwise.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, features, code, databases and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, scrape, reproduce or exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your private, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and app store rules.

The Service may depend on or link to third-party services, such as app stores, analytics providers, payment providers, hosting services or external websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies or practices.

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read it.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or that any content will meet your expectations.

Nothing in these Terms excludes legal warranties or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, relationship disputes, personal decisions, or harm resulting from misuse of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create legal risk, misuse the Service, attempt to bypass payment or security systems, or if we are required to do so by law or platform rules.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through the relevant app store to stop future billing.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page with the updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.

Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@labyssgame.com so we can try to resolve the issue amicably.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have access to consumer mediation mechanisms and mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
